The Center for Progressive Legal Defense is dedicated to working for those
who need help with a legal problem and striving to utilize the legal system
to provide a solution. General areas of practice are First Amendment
defense and criminal defense. The CPLD also focuses on improving the lives
of animals and provides legal counsel in a variety of capacities to rescue
organizations, animal rights activists, and anyone who works on behalf of
animals.
