Fees:
The first two hours of consultation and initial research are free. After that, the CPLD charges a fee of $200 per hour. All fees are negotiable based on the financial situation of the person seeking legal help, the issues presented, and the complexity of the legal problem. Some cases will be charged a flat rate in lieu of an hourly fee. The CPLD will accept certain cases involving an animal or an animal rights activist on a pro bono basis (free of charge) for either the entire case or a portion thereof.
